Live with the original paint while you get to know the bike maybe?
Patina / chips / scratches make it look that much better I reckon. It’s a great colour as it is. -

I suspect so - I don't think I've seen a way that replicates that essential raw metal look. Paint is too uniform. You might find a chrome effect that would look more classic?
