Aw, thanks. Its lovely in summer. But the lane to get up here is a b!tch with a standard chainset. Compact all the way for me now...

So would a 28 fit in the back?
And is the fork a standard 365mm axle to crown?
Ta very much -

Love the fade on this.

Well, it turns out you can fit a 28mm in both front and rear - Clement Strada LLG was the one I had available, and I'll stick in a photo or three, but there's about 3-4mm at the chainstay, and 2-3mm at the fork.
Yes, its standard 365mm axle to crown. I did consider getting a pair of the older Peugeot chrome forks; the ones with the external lug have a good deal more space between the blades for wider tyres.

The frame is still available, yep.
Rear dropout width is 126mm.In terms of sizing, the seat tube measured Centre to Top (like the diagramme above) is 600mm, give or take. The top tube is 580mm, so its definitely a 60cm according to the diagramme.
I measure all my bikes CtC, hence the thread title - and its the first time I have seen that geo chart, so thanks for posting it.

Price drop: £150
Any interest or offers before I am forced to take this piece of late 80s magnificence to the 'bay?

Sorry both - sold already
1989 Peugeot 753 Chorus frame, fork and Stronglight headset. Its straight, with no dents or damage, although there are numerous chips in the paint.
The seat tube is 585mm CTC and the top tube 580mm. Head tube is 174mm. Its a little too big for me. Normally I am on a 56.
It has clearance for 25mm tyres, and plenty of room for more at the back - but the fork is narrower, and 25mm is about the limit.
I have little stuff to build it up with (seat post is 26.4, for example, so you may want that, quill stem and bars, etc). I don't have any Chorus, though - the bike was dressed awkwardly in Shimano when I picked it up!
I'm looking for £150 posted. I'm based near Halifax, in the frozen north. Collection welcome, or I might be able to get to Manchester/Leeds or thereabouts.
