  • Really. £1.50 from wilko. Job jobbed.

  • Yeah, they're cables and they do a job, but you can also buy stainless ones that won't go shit, and stainless ones that are made smooth that won't go shit and feel nicer, but they cost more. You can also spend even more money on shimano coated ones that will fill everything with fucking fluffy coating shit and ruin everything, so there's probably a good middle ground.

  • In a moment of unprofessionalism I took a pair of Michelle Lineker's knickers off her washing line and wore them on my head.

  • jane wiedlin.

    totally.

  • I didn't own a handbag until this year*

Now I am strangely excited about the new overnight bag I ordered and looking up pretty but also functional bags on ebay.

*it also transforms into a backpack and it gets cleared every time after use. Doing it wrong?

  • I just use my handbag for storing a clean pair of knickers and my crack pipe.

  • i recently heard a foo fighters cover of band on the run and thought it was pretty good

  • I bought something from Jack Wills

  • I have no idea what the "Nah Stormzy/Heathrow Terminal 4/Wiley" beef is about.

    I am old.

  • I have no idea who Wiley is.

  • You monster. Want some more? Nice jumpers for you, good price

  • I still don't.

  • Get behind me, Satan!

  • I wake up sweating in the night when I remember that.......

I used to work in Toys r Us in the stripy jacket era.

  • I bought something from Jack Wills

    🤣 For shame!

  • In my defence I’d been given a voucher.

  • I love music documentaries so much that I’ll watch ones about artists and albums I don’t like at all. Am just fascinated by the creative process and how the personalities and sounds interact.

  • Any good ones in particular you'd recommend?

  • [barge] that one about Roy Halee, Simon & Garfunkel’s producer. More than just a fifth Beatle.

  • Currently watching Phil Collins who I think of as an MOR artist yet I know he is an incredible drummer and seeing him cry revisiting old tracks makes me much more sympathetic towards him.

Also seeing the incredible other musicians he worked with and his humility with hindsight that other people got things right which he didn’t like at the time of recording.

  • Also the hip hop evolution series on Netflix.

  • That Dexys one is right good

  • There’s an Adam Ant doc that’s well worth a watch. He had an interesting and tragic life and career.

  • Don't forget he was an actor too.
Oh hang on, he was crap in Buster wasn't he?
Jason Statham is practically RSC trained in comparison.

  • I've been changing inner tubes for 25 years and only just found out it's about a million times easier if you start taking the tyre off and finish putting it on at the valve.
