As someone who has ridden into a headwind wearing a rain cape, I'll testify to this being possibly the worst idea of all time..

Nice one!
Bag id? -

Love this! Are there any non custom disc TA forks like those that are not ugly?

German brand who's name escapes me at the moment.
Here is a closer view

https://bivibikes.com/femur is probably the closest you'll get in steel for non custom

what a load of shit.

Very nice, but i think for daily use restrap’s magnetic attachment might be the king.

Was so hoping for it to be spring loaded!

Haha, same here!
Much disapoint. That unwrapping procedure looked tedious as fuck.

I do like that..

Just watched the video now.
Operating procedure is possibly the opposite of functional, and as long as it isn't any wider than the handlebars, you're stil going to get wet.And when you fold it away after having ridden in the rain it's problaby going straight to mould city.

Yeah shame it's post mount rather than flat though, I'll ask around see how much a custom one would cost me. I like the idea of being able to front-load the Talbot for touring purposes with a 650b wheelset
I've seen the Rodeo spork but that's carbon, surely that can't take much weight?

Always nice when someone who seems to never have ridden a bike wants money for developing a product for a bike.
Reminds me a bit about the windsurfing thing that was supposed to make cycling the plains of Umerica a breeze!

invest in something less aerodynamically challenged

I'll take one of these any day
..do those work with wearing a big-ish / bulky backpack under them?
-
• #22295
Or this monstrosity...

I use it with one of these bags from Trakke - it is not optimal, but doable. My current commute is around 5 km, and I was riding any longer, I'd probably go for something more close fitting.
I don't dislike the cyclecar.. but have a hard time seing myself on one.

Thanks for the feedback!
Nice backpack by the way. -

I’d frickin love a cycle car. But I’d also love to live somewhere I wouldn’t get the absolute cunt ripped out me if I was seen in a cycle car.
Imagine it on descents, aero as fuck plus it’s like a protective bubble around you. Sliding out in a corner = scuffed up bodywork not leaving half your arse embedded in the tarmac!
