I do 3 days WFH and 2 in the office and it's brilliant. I get to see my son a great deal and have a laugh with him , and put him in the bath each evening. It's brilliant. Going into the office to sit there for the purposes of pure facetime (which I suspect is the case for most people ) is utterly pointless.
I'm speaking from the perspective of someone who rarely has a commute longer than 30 mins by bike BTW - compared to 90 minutes of train journey WFH is probably more appealing.
