Managed to snag the sneak peek of Carrion on Steam the other day. It's a fun mechanic for an old style platformer, and I quite enjoy thrashing helpless victims around and coating the place in blood. Tempted to get it when it comes out in full.

Tempted by the new COD I must say.

Also interested to see that Diablo 4 has been announced, it looks great at the moment but I'm sure Blizzard will find a way to fuck it up.

Hows the online? That's the part i'd quite like to try out. I like the pick up play for 10 mins nature of COD.

it's the best COD I've played since Blops2. The hitboxes feel much better than in the previous game, the weapon upgrades don't take years to grind for and you don't feel locked out of the decent weapons from the beginning. I'm enjoying the new game modes although I'd like some of the old ones back like One in the Chamber. The new 64 player game Ground War is fun, more like a Battlefield game than COD but in a good way.

Some of the 'night vision' footage I've seen looks brilliantly lit.

The single-player campaign is good (by CoD standards at least) but very short. I got through it in about 6-8 hours.

D4 will be amazing even tho blizzard are gutless, forelock tugging milquetoasts.

I see the PC launch of RDR2 went very smoothly, ah.

I'm still not a third of the way through, but spent most of last evening just hunting...

There are some you need to get as part of quests, so you may have lost one there. When I completed, I was still missing a card, and went round the whole world twice and played every fucker again to try to find it, as well as getting every single question mark.

I regret nothing.

Still no bootcamp so no. Can't run it on geforce now because of some directx nonsense and large download or somesuch. Think Nvidia cap it at 30GB per game maybe?

A lot of people raging but as someone said - it was ever thus with new PC releases and it certainly isn't my first rodeo on this front. No harder rage than nerd rage.

As for me - I loaded it up this morning and once I'd switched a few settings it is running fine. Looks amazing even on my middling laptop gaming rig.

Never really played Diablo, but bloody hell the cinematic for D4 got me hyped up beyond all reason. Not keen on throwing any more money to Blizzard after playing WoW (ultra casually, on and off) for about 12 years - as they turned the game to shit in my opinion - but man...

Can't wait for Doom Eternal! I've finished the 2016 version not so long ago and it was too good.

I played CoD4 and CoD2 on a high competitive level (seems like it was a lifetime ago), attending offline events regularly, winning online cups, ladders and shit, and I can't even look at any new CoD releases anymore. The last one I gave a shot was Black Ops 2, but which resulted in a quick uninstall after several matches. Loved playing Black Ops 1 casually though. Moved on to CS:GO, never took it too competitively, still playing a few matches sometimes. Fuckwank amount of cheaters though, not the best game, but there ain't anything better right now for proper competitive shooting.

Wish I had the time to play as much as during high school/uni...

Sometimes. Shitty optimization, laggy, generally wank, but there's a 3% chance a match will actually be enjoyable. Only playing 4 squad with my best mates, so at least there's no rage on teammates haha.

lol i had this problem and it was the only thing that stopped me from getting platinum.
Turned out it was miss-able.
