Yeah frame and budget would help.
RS Reba would be the default suggestion without more info. But you are looking at £300ish for a new one.

it's a cotic bfe from I think about 2012, so should be ok with anything from 100mm - 160mm of travel (according to cotic). I'm just looking to get extremely mildly rad round epping forest so was thinking 120mm? Budget around £250?
It should go without saying that I have almost no idea what I'm doing.

I’ve amassed a collection of 2nd hand parts, just went in on a 2nd hand frame, and am now just a pair of forks and a headset away from a complete bike. I don’t want to buy 2nd hand forks as I don’t know what I’m looking at enough to know whether I’m getting defrauded, so I’m going to buy new. Can anyone recommend a 26” sus fork? Preferably one that isn’t going to bankrupt me.
