Yep, see the yellow hydrant plate, his nearside front wheel was planted at the base of the tree just above it......probably lost the front end and understeered. I may have other knowledge of potential reasons for the accident, but not for an open forum.
Oh, it was easy to find considering that the above article gives the name of the road where it happened. As the most likely cause was a bend that the driver couldn't negotiate, the first location I looked at was the one.
