Bottle dynamos suck.
€150 for a rim dynamo? Why not pay like £65 for a hub? Get a wheel build cheaper than the rim option..

The velogical is your only option for a 'bottle' dynamo I think. It seems to be well reviewed.

Standard bottle dynamos aren't terrible if you have a way to mount one, and stupid cheap. They work fine with modern lights.
You'd better enjoy the whiney noise though.

Decathlon do a cheap one for about a tenner, makes 2w maybe? All plastic and the connectors are fragile

Help from the gang please. Is there a modernish bottle dynamo for my fixed commuter? Have searched and a stupidly expensive option pops up, anyone know of anything??
