Nah... Just effectively contained.

Tonga beating the Aussies in the league was amazing also. Great to see less fancied teams coming together hopefully making the bookies seeing a smaller profit.

I got a lot of stick yesterday over the Wales result, almost looking forward to work on Monday now.

Great to see that classless fucker Eddie Jones lose. And England, obviously.

As soon as Sinckler was knocked out, England were streets off competing in the scrum. The Boks scrummaging was world class and if you lose the scrum you lose the game. That effects the breakdown which we were dominated in too. Total control from the Boks, what a brilliant technical game.

Well, I didn't see that coming. Obviously anxious at the start and the Sink injury plus those first few decisions that certainly seemed to favour the Boks (Farrell doesn't release for 1 second, penalty against, Etzebeth doesn't release for 3 seconds, no penalty) really seemed to knock England. The only saving grace was that we were walloped fair and square (if you let a few 50/50s - maybe 70/30s - that don't go your and am early injury knock you out your stride like that you deserve to come second. That said, the Boks were excellent.Oh well, work/life has stopped me fully immersing myself in this World Cup but if only for Uruguay beating Fiji, Japan's performances and England v All Blacks it's certainly up there with the best in my lifetime.

Well it was a winning performance from SA but exactly what we expected - dull, attritional thudding rugby, no real flow, and just pressuring them opposition into conceding penalties. Horrible to watch, the rugby equivalent of Stoke City under Pulis. Gah.

Did you watch the NZ Eng game?
Are you English?
How's you feel about that? What if you were kiwi?
There was a knock out in 3 minutes (Eng) . There was a dislocation (SA - so it's fair) . There was amazing break downs and clashes.
Sure... It was dull cause England didn't win.

On the back foot.
White SA fans wearing animal skins and carrying shields and spears, England fans dressed as crusaders...
