Call me cynical, but I find it coincidental that the Tories announce this during an election campaign. A campaign which, if they went to secure a majority, then they need to win seats in northern England where most fracking trials have been conducted.

Big crude oil ships are making a re-appearance in the river for stanlow so the prices must be good .
How peel get round this lack of investment on its land will be interesting . They have a habit of land grabbing and neglecting along the mersey entrance.
