That would be amazing, can’t collect any time soon though. If someone else has a greater need I understand, otherwise if someone can keep hold of it for me I’d appreciate it!

They wouldn’t stay in business long if they didn’t... right?
Er, have you seen an On-One / Planet X bike straight out the box?

Yeah - they pack their bikes appropriately to their market. Seat post, bars and front wheel isn't really a stretch for their customers. But this is the cargo bike thread. Have you seen a GSD sold shipped direct to a consumer? I haven't, and given the heft of the thing I'm surprised its something dealers or Tern want to do - but I'd imagine it would be pre-checked similarly to a PDI before it goes out the door. You'd have to. Returns really mess a business up.

It’s built, but the last 3 I have seen were not “ready to ride”

I can imagine. My point to Howard was a lot of brands and / or retailers have got away with an awful lot in this market, and will continue to do so.

I can hold onto it for you no problem. It is black and has seen a lot of use but I'm sure there is a decent amount you could chop up.

Erm, I would hazard at least half of all online bike sales (regular bikes) are just shipped straight over to the customer without any checking other than that the correct accessories are in the box. I get around 3-6 a week, regular bikes that folks have bought online, attemped to build themselves then bring to me.
Used to work for a very large independent who would take every online sale bike out of the box, fully build it, run it past the normal chain of mechanics including a test ride round the block (same for every bike) before being re-packed into a larger box so the customer only has to turn the bars, thats it, everything already done for them, they were a rarity.
Know a local dealer that does Terns just box shifts them, they don't do anything to them for distance customers. In store collect get the full treatment though. -

See this a lot with Brompton’s, most, namely Evans (because of the sticker it’s traceable) just out the box and off you go.

Went to try a cargo bike and didn't buy it because my wife is adamant it won't fit through our gate.
Is anyone willing to ride their bullitt down to kennington to give it a go?

Appropriate_username as the case may be. Tape measure?

There's a corner and a low wall. So I'm worried about swept volume.

Fair enough, an actual example needed then! Hopefully a kind Bullitt owner can oblige.
