I reckon with this game more than most people (reviewers included) will avoid giving away too much to avoid spoiling it for others. Gone are the days when I can spend 30 hours playing a new release on opening weekend so I'm hoping so!
I never had any issues avoiding spoilers with MGS5 either though.

I went straight from playing Witcher 3 to RDR2 when it came out and all it did was make me realise how incredible Witcher was. Everything about Witcher is better, the scale, gameplay, mechanics, storyline, everything. I found RDR2 pretty tedious tbh.

I found the opposite. Witcher 3 is great but too long, I got bored of it and it's shitty horse controlling mechanics by about 2/3's through and I never once bothered to make oils or whatever. Whereas in RDR2 I would happily sit down for 10 minutes and make some fancy ammo or roast some meat for later because they were actually useful. Likewise in RDR I ended up going exploring a lot and finding all kinds of weird stuff but in Witcher it was just oh you found another barrel floating in the ocean.

those fucking question marks in the sea can get in the... etc.

I can imagine it would be boring after a while if you didn't immerse yourself in it totally. It has me pretty well hooked (still playing the final expansion). Reading the books too which are better than you might expect so I guess you cold say I'm quite invested in the world. Haven't really got tired of hacking drowners to bits and love me a question mark.
Re RDR2 I'm sure I'll give it a try - a few reviews have said the controls are clunky and immersion breaking so a bit nervous about that but quite fancy the idea of a really slow and banal world to hang out in (that isn't the stressful, banal one I live in ofc).

i've just started RDR2. sure it's clunky af but at least it makes you feel like you're actually in the world rather than gliding through it.
also horse poo. and shrinking horse nutz.

Luigis mansion and links awakening for£60 at tesco. Decent for Nintendo games. Wanted odyssey instead of zelda but they've stopped stocking it.

Diablo IV announced.
Just waiting for all the info on how blizzard are going to nerf it with micro transactions etc...

Also Overwatch 2 which sounds like it's actually just DLC except at full rrp

That's the only good review I've seen. Every other reviewer seems to hate it. Some refused to review it because that would require finishing it and they hated it too much to suffer that.

"apparently"...
According to AMD, the RX5500 in meant for 1080p AAA gaming and eSports titles. It should handle 90+ fps in games like PUGB and Apex Legends, and 60+ fps in recent AAA titles (Battlefield 5, Civilisation 6, Borderlands 3), which slots it somewhere between Nvidia’s 1650 and 1660Ti chips.
Mobile version will be less beefy but would be nice onboard to have regardless...

Confirmed! Plus Navi has macOS drivers now so double confirmed.
Yeah might even forget the eGPU with that onboard. -

Just need to decide on a monitor now...

5K ultrafine obvs.

I'm enjoying Modern Warfare, maybe I've missed it but nobody has mentioned it since release?
It's a nice change from previous CODs -
• #21120
Won't that just chew up resources /hobble performance?
-
• #21121
Keen to play but bootcamp is broken for me at the mo and Battle.net doesn't have a Mac OS workround that I know of. If it came out on Steam I could at least use GeForce Now :/

Also, despite Navi, you know I'm going to get the BMD egpu pro, because BMD...
And that's not compatible with the 5k right? -
• #21123
It’s untested really. Obvs works in macOS with the 5k but unsure in Windows. I keep meaning to buy one to test.

You're untested.

Yeah I'm playing it on Xbox. Much prefer it to the last Blops
I hear you, but even after watching the kojima gameplay demo, was still confused as to what you actually do. Was the walking/carrying all there was?
I'm not going to be getting to this game for 6mths to a year anyway, and even then it'll take me weeks/months to get through it with as little time as I get to play games. So I'll inevitably know more than I would like about it (through people playing on here discussing it/watching a couple of fightincowboy let's play videos) before I even spend hours downloading it...
In my christmas wishlist though..
