Is it? Or could it be a reference to dragonkin/agekin/otherkin or any other kind of genuinely weird stuff that's out there. The motorbike<>bike thing was clearly a reference to trans people due to the ongoing debate about trans people in sport. The basketball pumpkin thing could be just referencing the daft extremes that some people have taken self identification to.
There are people that identify as cats and wear ears and whiskers, some as vampires who drink blood and have their teeth sharpened into fangs, etc...
I see no direct reference to a trans person unless a pumpkin is some sort of emoji aubergine nob thing I don't understand.
