Cool. Thanks @rob_g_clarkson and @GoatandTricycle
Sounds like I'll be well looked after and up and running again soon.

Mine was doing the same, Evans sent it to Sram last week so now I'm waiting

The boys on Weight Weenies have been bothering manufacturers and a few are finally releasing AXS compatible 3rd party chains - https://rotorbike.com/catalog/default/rotor/road/chainrings/noq/noq-110/round-spider-mount-chainrings-bcd110x4-sram-axs-2x.html
Means I'm closer to my dream of shifting all my bikes to AXS but keeping all my powermeters

Just heard back from Evans that they've received the new RD SRAM shipped them so I'll go pick that up on Monday

I have a complete Di2 6770 setup with external battery mount and battery. Everything to run except the cables (Y-lever cable included) . Is it best to list individually or as a set?
-
• #3813
I tried to piece together a set recently but the rear mech goes for silly money on ebay ~ £170ish I think was a cheap one in the last few weeks. The front mech a you can’t give away - I’ve got one, you’d probably get £10 for it... the shifters are going for about £50/60 on eBay atm - If you want rid of it all then I’d list as a set and hope for around £300
-
• #3814
I wish you'd not said that. Now I'm on ebay pricing up a 6770 set despite the fact it saves bugger all weight over mechanical
-
• #3815
I've got a set of 6870 shifters I was keeping as spares but I'm trying to hoard less stuff so let me know if you want to take them off my hands.
-
• #3816
😬 what did I say wrong? You’re welcome to the 6770 front mech I have if you’d use it! I found it cheaper and easier to get 11speed together, 6770 shifters work with 6870 mechs and they are plentiful and cheap, especially if your Freehub body will take 11speed then why not 👍🏻👍🏻
-
• #3817
I got mixed up... I would be looking for 11 speed but I guess for front mech it doesn't matter much as long as it works with 6870 shifters. Hmm... internal battery and cables...
-
• #3818
As far as I’m aware (from reading the internet) a 6770 front and 6870 rear won’t work together, mechs need to be the same series - 6770 shifters will work for 11speed though.
I’m about to build a bike with external battery as over the winter it’s less practical to bring a wet/muddy bike into the house to charge it as I had to with internal battery bike, just a thought... plus the charger for internal batteries are overpriced at £60 odd! -
• #3819
Ah thanks. I've got an internal battery on my other bike so it's not a concern. Found a guy online willing to split a used groupset and just sell mechs and shifters

Does anyone have a spare junction box for external routing?
-
• #3821
I do and need a Junction B..?
-
• #3822
Would you sell it to me? I’ve not got a spare junction B sorry :(
-
• #3823
Only if you don't have enough spare ports on A or don't want to run longer wires all the way back.
-
• #3824
Let me double check the routing options on my bike but sure...or they are less than £20 on Wiggle.

I'm not sure about that. I have a R8000 rear mech working just fine with the older series front mech. I've never updated firmware.
They replaced mine within a week. The faff was minor.
