Picked up this Ercol Windsor sideboard relatively cheap from eBay, due to marked top:

Bit of fine wire wool and copious Briwax, and it's looking ok:

Fantastic..I tend to use satin osmo oil..much easier and durable finish

Ah, interesting; thanks.

Do you think I could use osmo oil over the wax or I'd need to strip it off if I wanted to try it?
