  • Not sure if this is posted the right place, so let me know if i need to post somewhere else, but here goes:

    I have Charge Scissor frame, that has a rear spacing of something like 140mm...
    This means that using a regular track hub is doable, but not really ideal.

    I was thinking about using a 29" rearwheel and throw on a bolt-on cog.

    I know that usually people use a front wheel and convert it to use for rear, and that should be pretty straight forward when it comes to spacing and chainlines.. BUT what if i use the rearwheel.

    I dont really have acces right now to test if it would actually fit.

    (The wheels in question are from an older Kona Unit i've been told. So they are dished for singlespeed).

    What do people think - is it possible?
