    How did you make the light?
    I'm guessing it is cheaper than buying the equivalently bright light?

  • Yes very cheap around £10-£15 at the time I think. I put links to the parts in the video description. It just involves a very small amount of soldering. The driver board is a little too large for the torch body, but it still screws together. I made the diffuser out of a white plastic baroca type tube. Just sanded off the label, cut it to size and sealed with a tiny bit of silicon sealant. The body takes an 18650 battery which lasts an age. I used it for the first time the other day after 2 years of non use for an hour and it still has charge.

    Never found a good fitting for it so just tie it to a saddle bag now.
