Any idea if the magnetic mount is any good? Is it a magnet attached to a rubber strap and a magnet on the back of the light to take it off easily?

The magnetic mount is really good. You twist and it locks. The magnet kind of pulls it in. It makes removing the light without taking the mount off really quick, just grab and twist.

It’s the best light mount I’ve ever seen. Mount rubbers on, you can get spare mounts as well so makes for super easy switching. As farewell says light locates with magnet and twists on then twists off. Ingenious.
