Some out front mounts can have that go pro style attachment underneath which can work with some lights with the right adapter if that’s an option for you

When I've got bags/lights/food obstructing the normal position of my garmin I spin the mount 180 degrees so it's on the nearside of the bars. It's not perfect - my knees sometimes hit it, but it works.

Cool, will prob go out front then, was resistant as kinda wanted to mount my light front and centre but that can always go on fork leg/under rack.
Had also been looking at the spacer mount options.
