I have got some tubeless valves that have a plastic wedge shaped to match the asymmetric rim profile. Does the rubber O ring go on after the wedge is fitted and then followed by the threaded retaining nut?
If it's the rubber O ring I'm thinking it goes between nut and rim. stops rattling I guess.
