There’s been a fair bit of talk on the student factor, which I don’t understand. Students can be registered at two addresses.
To me it seems more likely they’ll only be registered at their parents than their Uni address.
Or is it something else?

I didn't know that!

perhaps the problem is more that once the young people get distributed back into the wider world labour end up loss places like Portsmouth south and Canterbury back to the Tories.

This could be quite possible.
At the moment it just seems like a growing urban myth...
