yes... one cable for 1x11 or if you still had a split junction in the downtube, 2 cables if you wanted to route both derailleurs from stem.
those new modern all integrated aeroish bikes use heavy oversized proprietary spacers to hide what they want to hide. personnally i know which system i prefer.
if you would use this on a rim brake bike chances are you would have 2 cables still, along on of which the di2 cable is usually strapped.
