I've got this 56 in a box, tbh if you intend on building it and riding it you can have it for what I paid for it?

My guess is 2000 or 2001, based on the lack of quill

Is the fork original? I know early CAADs had a Time fork but haven’t seen one the same before I don’t think.
I think around 2000 as well
You can view the old catalogues here

Any idea on max tyre clearance on a 2018 Supersix Evo Disc? The official line is 28c, but it looks like 30(+) might fit. Currently on 25c GP5000s but thinking about going wider for the winter.
-
• #11743
Depends on the rim, doesn't it?
-
• #11744
I think consensus these days is "if it fits, it fits". 28mm tyres might blow up to 31mm, or actually be 28
-
• #11745
Good point. I don't have any callipers but just checked the width of my "25mm" GP5000s on Hunt rims with a tape measure and they look closer to 28mm. I guess I'll just keep going wider and see what happens...

Simplest way for a rough date is headbadge. As Caad3 it's likely 99/2000 ish. If it has a small c, then it's no later than 99. If it's the current big C style the it's 2000+

Anybody in the Waterloo > Canary Wharf vercinity have a FSA / Hollowgram spider/chainring tool that I can borrow to change a chainring?
Tool is almost as much as I paid for the cranks and chainring!! 💰
