    I do not believe this is a repaint. Please check the pics I took when the bike just came to me. You can see the original primer right underneath and no signs of any repaint.

    Color is not Saronni (didn't this come later?) red but Rosso Corsa. Paint is in very good condition indeed. I just did a very gentle cleaning of the frame and a very few paint touch-ups (only in the areas you see in these new pics) with a very little brush. It took me quite some time to find the righ touch up paint for a perfect (in my opinion) colour match. Afterwards, the frame has been waxed with carnuba wax and so it shines ;)

    I have to admit I was thinking the fork had been repainted , but I 'm more oriented now to believe the contractor at some point in time just took an un-chromed fork crown and painted it all together. Who nows.....

    Decals I 'd say are the ones used between 75 and 79 missing diagonal world's bands. I haven't put any new decal here. I'm not saying this is a rare bike but usually there are more from 1980 onwards and later new mexico ones around there.
