  • 10% though.

    Nice?

  • £12 a pint and the description says rich. They’re trolling you

  • Yes, dark and smooth. I felt the 10% afterwards though!

@mrJL Probably but that was strong enough for me not to need anything more to drink so probably worked out even in the end.

New Scientist also reported this but it's paywalled so we get this crap site instead

Great I'll see if I can get hold of some, sounds an ideal winter ale.

  • Probs boring af.

Oatmeal stout from m&s and the Cornish 6 malt stout. Nice.

  • I've tried their "golden trickery" which is also awesome!! New favorite brewery.

  • Raspberry Chocolate Stout.

It's as bad as you would imagine.
Very raspberry, which it turns out I don't particularly like.

    £3 from Tesco beer aisle.

  • I find my first impressions of cans are a good call these days.

  • A bit of a De Molen night.

  • Had a very nice Liquorice and salt stout from Vibrant Forest brewery the other day .... really tasty winter beer .... and .... it was in the new Bull and Finch bar (Bullfinch brewery’s new venture ) on Gypsy Hill , right opposite the station entrance .... even better , if you arrive by bike on a Sunday - beers are happy hour prices all day , well , from 2pm ... Brilliant ... and quite handy if you’re coming back into town from Surrey hills ...

  • Those two were very good. There was a IPA that I wasn't too fussed about though.

  • Cool, more to look out for at the offy if there're bottles going.

  • Bad picture but Tapped Leeds is doing a Tiny Rebel Tap Takeover.

I aim to get through all of these. I'm on holiday tomorrow...

    Cherry Bomb 5.0% Sour

Imperial Irish Cream Stay Puft 9.0% Porter

Stay Puft PB&J 5.2% Porter (You'd need to like peanuts, it's a strong taste)

Welcome To The Party Pal! 6.3% Snowball IPA (Die Hard IS a legitimate Xmas movie.)

Peaches & Cream 5.5% Milkshake IPA

Pump Up The Jam 5.0% IPA (Keg and Cask versions) Keg is more tart. Cask is more creamy.

After Party 10.0% Baltic Porter. Strong. Very strong.

    The Irish Cream wins overall.

  • That sounds very good.

  • The crate was okay but the five points might have been off so the closest I got to a good beer this evening was a mate of @mustardbeak talking about them getting to a Belgian abbey for some beers.
