Really like the colour scheme as well . It's got a race number boss under the top tube , so could be an ex race bike .

It's a respray, that's for sure. Frame looks like Superissimo, don't believe the forks are the ones that came with this frame originally (from older type than the frame is).

Mini update - Exustar Keo pedals and less obnoxious Deda seatpost. Getting closer w/ fit - seeking out Thomson Inline and matching X2 in 100mm +-10. Tubs are doing okay bar a nick in the center tread of the rear which I'm monitoring.

Good info - cheers! The paint finish looks and feels like it's a factory job up close as opposed to respray but I've nothing to compare it to bar my old Coppi Reparto Corse which was similar vintage I think.
After a bit of sifting online- because of the internal routing on the top tube, is the frame a Super Piu?
@cino nice one - had clocked that boss under the top tube but didn't know what it was for admittedly!

Ya this is a Superissimo, I sold this as a frameset earlier in the year with that paint job. Pictured its built with a 9sp Veloce groupset

Funny how a couple of cheapo Lifeline bottle cages can tidy things up.

That's much better yeah. Removing the seat tube logos?

Probably not, think it's lacquered over and not overly fussed.
From the weekend before last, was great craic.

Additions include EC90 seatpost and stem (AliExpress's finest).

Really nice build, Dublin bay in the background?

Cheers! Yep, taken from the top of the Hill of Howth.
Picked this up locally last night. Really pumped on the 90s colour scheme. Paint is iffy in places but the frame is all good structurally and chrome is good all round bar minor pitting.
The set up is a bit of a dogs breakfast so first thing is to set it up for myself properly. Then put Keos on, lose the Supertype post, Thomson stem and the bottle cages are pretty shite looking so will change those out too. Tubs have had it so will be replacing with something reasonably cheap.
Other bits I'm buzzed about are the Tune hubset and Campag group, the last roadie I had was a Coppi Reparto Corse w/ full SRAM Rival and this feels like a more appropriate pairing.
I don't know what type of frameset it is exactly so if anyone could weigh in I'd be super appreciative! Here is an album showing frame/ fork details that could assist in identification: https://imgur.com/a/cgEqkni
