Looks like you're holding the fork up with your foot. And you've got an ostrich helping with the camerawork.

Another nice one Tom!

@velosaurus thanks man it really is different from most paint jobs you see these days and the fades are spot on.
@psg1ben haha what you see you cannot unsee ;) That was me trying to push one of the cats away, they're too inquisitve!
@sacredhart thanks buddy, appreciated. Got a stunning metallic blue Roberts that I polished up today but not sure it's time to let that one go.. -

The paint job reminds me of those time trialling frames in the heyday of craftsman made steelies. Very nice thing. I could just see that with a gopping single ring. Are Cinelli spoiler BB's pretty rare?
-
• #22
Cheers mate. It really is a beautifully made, number matching piece of kit. Paint isn't too bad either ;)
I think they're quite rare, I've not seen them about much and they were only put onto high end frames. Chas had a thing in the 80's of mixing British and Italian steels and bits. I've got an 80's Roberts track frame with Cinelli and Campag parts but made from Reynolds steel.
Off to the bay today if there are no takers. Cheers. T
SOLD
Another one to go. I'm having a clearout in earnest and aim to end up with only one road bike and two day-to-day fixies..
SOLDDibs and PM please
Can be collected from Portsmouth or posted at cost with 4% Paypal fees.
Ask away with any questions etc and thanks.
Tom
Roberts road bike frame and fork
Serial number says 1988
Toptube 56.5ctc, Seat tube 57.5ctc.
Unsure of steel as there are no decals but it's pretty light (especially compared to my 531's) so guessing it's something higher end.
Has the very pretty and relatively rare spoiler-type Cinelli BB shell
Matching serial number forks with "R" panto'd on the crowns
Paint is an unusual purple to white fade. It has seen better days but still functional and very much up to serving its purpose
Frame is straight, no cracks, no bends, no dents.
Seat tube is 27.2mm, all threads as they should be.
SOLD£300...275..250..230..220 please
Thanks. TomSOLD
