This would look great in my driveway...

Booked the C55 in to have the heating elements replaced in the seat bases - this is officially the last thing that needed to be done to get it to A1 status (other than some minor paint tidying, but that's Forth Bridge stuff). I should clearly sell it.

The chap in the GT3 is called Nick, he's on the 911UK forum - we bought his Syvecs system off him earlier this year.

New car day.
Bit of a squeeze in the garage until the old one goes back next week...

^Beefy.
For something so rare this seems a decent price: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/143388451322

though there is a Renault in the auction that I have more of an eye on

Same engine and gearbox as the Delorean.
-
• #50587
Delorean is non-turbo, so only has 130bhp.
A mate of mine has the Alpine turbo version in his delorean. The gearbox is the same as used in the lotus esprit of the same era too.

Yep, and prone to breaking in applications with decent torque.

Would.
An Alfaholics GTA-R build would be in my lottery garage without a doubt.

^Beefy.
You're not wrong.
It's definitely nowhere near as 'sharp' as the outgoing car but you can't beat it for comfort and features. It feels fantastic to just cruise along in. Given over 80% of my annual mileage is up and down the motorway, it's looking like a solid choice.Doesn't hurt that I get a ridiculous deal through work either...

When I was at Bruntingthorpe the other day there were thousands of Rangie's parked up waiting to go onto transporters to be delivered around the country, got quite used to seeing that shape as I left the track to get a cup of tea!
Does anyone routinely pass Silverstone on the way to Bromsgrove, and wouldn't mind doing me a favour?

I now have a sensible small estate parked outside the house and the Volvo looking sad languishing down the road. Mission complete. Hopefully I can now stop thinking about cars for a while (probably a week or two until some warning lights come up and I regret everything)

What did you go for?

08 n53 e91. Fingers crossed, a tidy enough example. Honestly just got bored of looking.

Nice. Those are solid and the 6 cylinders are nice engines.
Colour? Spec?

(Very) Black 330 M sport. Got paddles and pano which is all I was after.

Nice. Pano roofs are lovely.
New car for me has total glass roof. So bright.

Sunshine pic of the new car...
22inch wheels are a bit much (they came with the car) so looking to buy a cheap set of 20s to use.
Anyone recommend a good alloy wheel site? Want a complete wheel / tyre package.

What do you mean by a bit much? Why not just keep them and not worry about it?
It's a light car with a modern engine so that may be why they didn't feel they needed more. But yeah I'd have thought you'd use the 3.2l from the Z3M / M3 S50(?) or whatever.
