  • No one is mentioning the saddle angles? My wrists aches just looking at the bikes. Reason for the not levelled saddles?

  • Do you have more pics of the CX Giant? Looks like a great transformation!

  • I agree, aesthetically (shallow i know, but there you go) none of them look right (angle or saddle)...

But when the rider's derriere is on the saddle you don't see it anyway and it's comfort not looks that takes priority.

  • The short explanation is, they are level. Sort of.
The saddles are Fabric Tri. The rear of the saddle kicks up, but the front and the area my sit bones engage with is level. They just never look level in photos.
If you set the saddle so it “looks” level the nose of the saddle will push your perineum up into your tonsils.

    • and as a midwife you will be pretty au fait with perineums i would have thought.
      sorry...
  • You’d better believe it

  • I’ll get some more pics of the CX bike this weekend.

  • Here’s some more pics of the Capo

I’ve changed the bars for FSA Wing Pro, the stem for a Kalloy Uno 130mm, Ti bolts are coming, and currently running 48x16 with a Tektro brake lever and a ratty Ultegra 6800 front brake.
Plans are to change the Soma cranks out for Sugino or Miche, and maybe build a set of clinchers for it (currently running Velocity Escape rims on Miche Primatos)

  • Also on the saddle angle, the photos of all my bikes are taken on a stand that brings the rear wheel up a couple of inches. It’s really not angled that way when level. I’ve been wracking my brains about why it looks so in photos.
