Absolutely right @Dogs - wheels are heavy. A light set of wheels will get this down to around the 6kg mark. There was one that popped up on weighweenies that was down to 5.5kg from memory, no idea what the build was.

the whole bike should be around the 6.9kg mark, they were light when they came out and every review said the same thing - change the wheels.
