preferred sandwich dial as well but chose the 390 because of the brown dial and gold hands. Money not an issue, for 44mm, i'd go for the 911.

I do keep thinking about putting a FOIS on a black suede racing strap though.

I was advised to exactly not do that! Who knew it could be done.

Ha. I like the smaller size and no crown guards, and the simpler chrono seconds hand with no lume (and no “aged” brown lume either). Not so wild about the sapphire crystal with its “halo”. Just think it would look killer with a strap like this.

I have two questions. First, what’s an Omega advisor? Is that their whole job? Are we talking about ejay here?

Second, why would they advise you not to put a racing style strap on a chronograph designed for racing drivers?

I guess that was four questions.
