Something that just occurred to me is that, in 2000 when I was buying up stuff from around '94, it was stuff that was already 6 years old - and that felt like an eternity then.
Now, the stuff I'm buying from around 2000 is nearly 20 years old, but it still sounds 'new' to me.
Anyway, that just makes me wonder where all that fucking time went.

I still haven't stopped thinking about it. It's spurred me on to record a few more mixes.
No Reality was one of those tunes that I never actually got around to acquiring, and I've just gone and picked up that and a whole load of other Ram Trilogy and Bad Company stuff that's always been missing from my collection.
My intention is to record two or three mixes that span the 1998-2002 era as a homage to all the stuff that was coming out right at the start of my foray into DJ'ing and clubbing. I'm going to be able to include a load of stuff that's going to seem fresh to me, mixed in with all the stuff I've already got.
Will start pulling tunes tonight, but this might take me a while to find the time to record them, but hopefully the first one will be ready next month... I'm open to any requests!
