My method improved handling imo but ment respacing the dropouts quite a bit and using size 48 shoes ment a bit of heelstrike. But I rode it like that for a good while.

I think the cold setting shouldn't be a huge issue. It's just testing my TIG skills in brazing the dropouts. Or I guess it's more my fixturing accuracy skills.
Anyone ever swapped out their pomp dropouts for geared? I know you can get a little hanger to stick in... Was wondering on the best way to turn the pomp into a proper 130mm geared back end (and disc while I'm at it).
@M_V ? I know there's an old thread where @Hulsroy did it but it raised the back end about 15mm or so with some custom inserts things...
