An absolutely huge car, avoid if you don't need the space. Also interior is like a 90s boardroom. Really unimpressed when I had one as a courtesy car.

It's an MPV, the interior of which will likely be ruined by kids. You could go VW Sharan, but the S Max has loads of space and are cheaper in comparison.

Fiat multipla.
As long as you don't care about driving about in a truly hideous car they are very good, cheap family cars that fit somewhere in between an estate and a mpv.

I quite like the weird look of that car, and now I googled the interior and WTF were they thinking? Is it designed in Bryce 3D?

Joy of car.
20 miles into a 200miler car sounds a bit sportier.
25 miles in car sounds a bit Harley Davidson.
30 miles in i start looking for a lay by thats wide and not littered with excrement and bottles of piss so i can "have a look" underneath.
35 miles in.... choices.... exhaust silencer has snapped at the weld from back box to connector. Can call AA who won't fix it but would escort me to a garage that might have the part on the shelf. Most likely be an overnight delivery. Can just return home and try there.
No joy, wandered into a tyres/batteries/exhaust while you wait place, got ignored (not as if they didn't hear me drive in) drove home tried locals.
With discounts an tings now waiting on delivery from eurocarparts for a new silencer.
Last time this fell off it cost £109 fitted and 24-48hour wait for part to arrive. Might get the part Monday or Tuesday maybe Wednesday but self fitting and the dizzy sum of £60Car MOT expires next May. Car is being scrapped then, we might not make the goal of 200k miles on a 3cyl 993cc unit :)
Going to look at scooters as a back up as moved a bit rural from the M20 corridor..... -

If you simply have to be a cunt and have a massive 4x4 in London, this is the only approved one IMHO.
Saw this Beetle mod on the back of a truck in Hither Green, google says its a Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 RS Recreation – Pro 9 Build Based on a 1986 Porsche 911.
And this sticker bombed little Fiat made me smile, and reminded me of being 18 again, back when car stereos were more powerful than the engines. Totally reminded me of a mate who had a red one of these nicknamed 'the blim' back in the day. Happy days.
Also while in Catford earlier I saw, but couldn't photograph in time, a tatty but very cool looking 60's Vauxhall Velox. That looked very stylish. However the person responsible for designing the estate version made a total dogs dinner of it, looks like a collection of windows from a caravan scrapyard bolted onto a yute.

quality spots and appreciation dude. if you owned those three reckon you would have all bases covered

• #50386
Cheers, yeah totally agree, I would happily have those and no other cars for the rest of days.

Mrs Hammer took the car in after complaining to me about a ‘loud noise’ for several days. From her description it sounded like a blown exhaust but turns out to be 3 of 4 engine mount bolts missing!
Last news I got was that the car was stuck half out of the door at the garage with the engine jacked up to stop the final mount snapping 😬 -

Saw this parked outside the workshop today. Someone has a new toy that I'm well jealous of.

This is in a Group B Renault:
Presumably if it's ok there, I can use the top anchor point of my rear seat belt to hold the shoulder straps of a harness for track days?

That Landcruiser is glorious...
-
• #50392
The one you have posted it just a replica “group b” maxi, it doesn’t even have a roll cage. If you look at a genuine group b maxi you will see the harnesses are fitted within the allowed angles and meet the safety guidelines with mounting points.

The Ghibli's engine is out after blowing up at a race track. It's due back next week, fully race tuned and is off to Le Man's next year.
