They might call them out randomly but they could just note that down which wave each number was in. Easy enough to sort out if they chose to. Given TransIb had top placed riders within 3min it could get 'interesting' if they don't. Or maybe they call anyone within an hour of each other 'equal 3rd' or whatever.

I read the above as to mean they won’t consider which wave you are in at the finish..?
