car? I live in London, all things are accessible with enough belief.

I believe in you

Some people see being broke as hell as a stumbling block, I see it as a challenge*
*a challenge I do not like and do not wish to suffer any further.
This mtb is a ripper though, proper nippy.

Been off the bikes for a number of months thanks to injuries various, slowly but surely climbing back on. Rode this thing around on Saturday. It is truly absurd how fast it feels.

Saddle angle suggests you are a triathlete now.

I will never run. The saddle is run at about 1ยบ down, think the angle of the photo is accentuating it somewhat. Thanks to a surprisingly tall headtube I only really ride this on the drops anyway.
In #buyer news, I bought a CK headset for the Genesis because the FSA one it currently has is perfectly functional but does not have the correct and good letters on it.

bought 3 power meters and sold 2 in the time I've been gone. Once a buyer always a buyer shall be

been toying with the idea of replacing the Pinnacle with something for a while yet, to the point of getting some initial drawings done for a custom Ti frame. I like the look of this new Standert frame, so been doing some thinking:
Standert Frameset + silca framepump
Di2 mix (already got a working group, would get new R8070 shifters)
Hope rear Dyno front hubs on maybe AForce alloy rims + Jon Bon Pass 35c
Quarq cranks
GB matte black mudguards + dynamo light fittings
Canyon VCSL seatpost + Romin
Whatever stem + superzero barsWould be a screamer of a winter / touring bike + could throw some 38/40s on for road+ touring in the spring

personally I love to spend ~2.5k on a bike that would be... marginally, marginally better than what I have now.
-
• #889
Sounds like an exceptionally sensible decision. I look forward to it.
-
• #890
Not quite the same levels but I share this exact sentiment.

Do it and buy my Silca off me! (Especially now I have a size medium coming in the post). Sounds like exactly what I'm aiming for with my current build, Curve steel frame, Silca, PDW guards and sinewave beacon up front.

I always have similar "sensible" decisions :)
I never regret;)) -

160 quid for a frame pump? What does it do that makes it better than a Zefal or Topeak frame pump? Obviously gains more insta points, but other than that.

• #894
I have one. I like it a lot. I would like another.
I can probably count on one hand the number of punctures I've had in the last 12 months across all my bikes. I don't need any of this shit, but why not?

More incentive...
There's a delay on the Rideworks bbs so they offered to upgrade mine to Chris King. Catch is it'll only work with electronic groupsets.
-
• #896
Do it. Dooooo it
Don't know why you would bother with a cable groupset any more.
-
• #897
I've already got an Ultegra mechanical g/s for it. Never understood the fuss about Di2 unless it's for 'cross.
I was insinuating that you should get one ordered asap ;)

look nice this standert. onky asking, but is there anything it does that an equilibrium wouldn't ?
-
• #899
looks cool?

trust @fredtc on this, he has the moustache to back it up.
realistically the standert has significantly racier, lower geo, and most importantly is properly internally routed for electronics. These are important things for me. Tbh my current Pinnacle is absolutely fine, I'm only windowshopping.
strong work, which car did you get?
