Definitely interested as I'm planning to buy a Bluetooth cable anyway and this way I'd get to try the Shures too! Did the cable get used much within the three months (I've noticed it's got a built in battery)?

I’m interested if ^ doesn’t want them. I only use one ear piece when I’m cycling anyway

Radsone ES100 looks great, but doesn't seem to be available in the UK for a decent price (yet only $100 on amazon.com). So might just get the BTR3...

If you want one, let me know and I'll order one today and bring it home with me.

I was swayed by @JB and picked up a pair of Tin T2 earphones.
Wasn't too impressed with them to start with, bass was very lightweight compared to other headphones that I own. It improved a bit with bigger tips but still fairly average.
I swapped out to the foam tips and then they started to sound good. Much more detail and some decent bass.
I'll probably keep them as they sound good with the foam tips but they were much less forgiving of a poor seal with the tips compared to other headphones I use in the office. (I need to be able to hear my phone, people trying to get my attention, etc). I'll probably use them for travelling instead, although they didn't come with a pouch/case so I'll have to dig out an old one.

I'm just listening to mine for the first time and I reckon they're really excellent for the money.
More bass than I was expecting given all the reviews I'd read (with the foam tips) and so far all my music sounds exactly like I'd expect/want it to sound. Which is good.
Soundstage is not perfect and I feel like the bass is sometimes not as good as the treble but for £38 I'm super impressed.

They aren't as good as my B&W PX but they cost £300 so yeah. Timing/musicality is amazing for the cash.

Glad to hear it :-) will maybe get some as a budget sealed alternative to my VE Monk's. Hard to not always want to use my Fiio's, though...

Looking for cheap Bluetooth cordless earbuds (in pair, or preferably one side only, is for cycling and I like to have one free ear if it makes sense) on amazon, can't be bothered with Aliexpress delivery times (chinese are on break now on top I think). Any suggestions of cheap ones that work relatively well and have reasonable batteries?

I have some QCY QS2 that I got for £20 from AliExpress. Amazon appear to have similar models for £5-£10 more.
They're surprisingly good. Sound quality isn't amazing but it's not bad. Connection is very solid which impressed me. They can be used as a pair or just singly (not sure if it's a specific ear that can be used singly). Battery is about 4 hours although the case holds enough battery for a couple of extra charges.

Do they work independently or is the left slaved to the right?
-
• #2113
In normal use the left is slaved to the right. Somewhat surprisingly though I've just tested and each one can be independently connected to the phone via Bluetooth.
If you were only using one ear you could probably get nigh on 24 hours by charging one in the case and then switching when the other ran out.

Might get some Tin T2 based on comments on this thread. Or plump for T3?

Having spent a bit longer using them I'd say they're decent for the price but not great, they're about what you'd expect a headphone at that price to be. They have great clarity but are lacking a bit of low end (and I'm not particularly into bass heavy stuff). I certainly wouldn't say they're as good as my Klipsch X10 which didn't cost that much more.
They do the job for me, partly because I was looking for in-ears with MMCX connectors, build quality seems very good and they're very good for TV/podcasts. Not my favourite for music though

What is the comfort of over-ear headphones like compared to on-ear headphones if you wear glasses?
I find that after 4 or 5 hours my on-ear headphones (Sennheiser Momentum) start to give me some pain where the top of my ear is being squashed against the glasses arm. I'm guessing that over-ear would stop that but not sure if they'd still be uncomfortable or the seal would be bad due to glasses. It's hard to test as the discomfort currently only manifests after a few hours.
If it is likely to improve the comfort does any have any recommendations for over-ear headphones? Noise cancelling is a must (will mainly be used for flying), wireless a nice bonus. Will be used more for films and TV than music. Cheers

For use when flying I'd say get in-ear. On or over don't play nice with sleeping and headrests. I have Bose QC 20 and even when I'm not watching a film, I just leave them in.
-
• #2122
I did ponder that but I'm not sure how comfortable I'd find them after 12 hours and most of the in-ear noise cancelling ones have the boxes for battery which makes them a bit awkward to use for anything on the go.

I wear over-ear headphones with glasses for flying and the seal and comfort are fine (although they are quite warm). No problems sleeping either.
Mine are Sony wh1000xm3s - I preferred them to the equivalent Bose.
I used to use in-ears but they’re not that comfy over a long period and put pressure on your ear if you sleep on them. I’d probably switch to soft earplugs if it’s a planned sleep anyway. -

I have the same headphones and I used to really like them.....until the latest firmware update.
It really changed the headphones' behaviour (for the worse) and apparently it's not possible to go back to the previous firmware version. Quite disappointed in their performance now, I fly quite often and they've been a blessing until recently.
Edit; just found out they've released an new firmware update. I'll give it a go and hope for the best.

Oh, what changed? I’m off on holiday tomorrow and as far as I know haven’t updated them this year...
Thanks, I vaguely remember them being raved about a while back. Looks like everything has moved on a fair bit in terms of accessories/cables too!
