I've got a green Flite like that, and am having a massive ball ache trying to get some bar tape in the same shade of green. Green is proving to be a nightmare colour to gauge from online pics it seems. Deda and Fizik were no good, as was Lizard skins, the Brooks apple was too light too and £50 bar tape can>>>>>
There seems to be lots of flouro and Sagan/Cannondale green but a total lack of pea green. I went to Condor the other day to see some in person, and none of their greens were close either. I'm currently waiting for postie to deliver some cotton Velox tape, some Velox guidoline tape and some random cheap tape that looked the same shade. .... but my wallet is baulking at £28 for cotton tape, especially when previous matchy attempts have been such a fail. Anyone else got any other alternatives?
Would prefer it with drops, but that Fondriest is fantastic!
