My ex used to throw up and pass out if she even saw a photo of a spider. Even somebody saying the word spider was sometimes enough to make her lose consciousness. The risk of her dying as a result of her phobia was real. An extreme example but the main reason why I'm so careful about people's phobias!
Don't fuck with people's phobias man, its really cruel. It might be only a peach to you, but probably ellicited a genuine and very real fear of death in that chap!
Then again, I once absent mindedly threw a peanut at my friend with a nut allergy so perhaps I shouldn't judge.
