But does he? He’s at -43 in terms of his majority. I think he’s just bringing them along as a beard.

Indeed. Unless a lot of Labour MPs go the Full Hoey or unless the former Tories are bribed into supporting the Johnson deal the DUP's position is totally irrelevant. But then it's all irrelevant as the prospects of Johnson getting a deal agreed with the EU is next to zero.
