Campagnolo 9/10 speed compatibility

Am in the process of building up an older frame and was wondering if a Campagnolo 9 speed cassette and 9 speed ergo shifters would be ok to use with a 10 speed Campag rear derailleur......is there any thoughts on this?

I think until recently Campagnolo was consistent with the derailleur pull ratio so as long as the levers and cassette match you're golden. 11 speed ruined it all as I found out when I got some Potenza levers and nothing else worked!
