I don't understand how spurs fans can really be that annoyed with Pocchetino. He's made them a consistent top 4 finisher, given them an identity - made them very un-spursy (last night's result excepted), bought sensibly, taken them to a champion's league final and all without shelling out man city, or even man united levels of cash. It was only 8-10 years ago Tottenham were the 'finish anywhere between 11th and 5th club'. Losing Trippier seems to have affected the balance of their defence, and clearly players wanting out isn't good for morale. As embarrassing as last night's defeat was, it was a freak result. The fact that this is seen as a crisis is a reflection of how well Pocchetino has done.
