French you say? How old are you willing to go? Citroen cx? Peugeot 504/505? Or newer?
Actually, are you a little crazy? Go for a Citroen C6... Or xm.... So good. What could go wrong?

Would love a 504 or 505 - and would go back that far. The CX is another option too - albeit a slightly scarier one. But more of them around than the peugoets.
I used to drive my dad's 504 family estate on a fairly regular basis back in the early 90s and still recall what a lovely smooth ride it gave.

nah, the front grill not big enough ;-)
but apart from brief consideration of picking up Nurse Holidays old estate I don't think I would ever consider a BMW. just to reduce space for thinking I reckon it will be Italian, French or possibly Japanese. With Saab and Volvo possible outliers to that.
Mainly enjoying toying with options at the moment and won't be doing anything for a couple of months yet.
