16 hole rim on 32 holes hub

Hi,

I have a 16 holes carbon rim and I would like to know if I lace it to a 32 holes rear Miche hub it will resist the force from skids.
It won't be all the time, but it will be and it will be all the time the stoping force.

Probably not a good idea to skid on a 16h rim, and especially not a carbon one.

I also have an aluminium rim.Could be stronger?
I intend to lose some weight from the rear wheel because the actual wheel weights 1.2kg
