Working on this 1978 Peugeot PSN10 (I think) in Reynolds 531.
It had tubs so going back to clinchers and my friend is after a more relaxed position so I swapped the bars to ones with a slight sweep.
Apart from a good clean, it needs a new chain, brake pads all around, recabling and it should make a lovely town bike.
Lovely! There's a good pretty amount of tyre clearance on these too, right?
There is yes!
Depending on tyre tolerances, you could run up to 30mm tyres with mudguards or up to 35mm without.
Funny how most new modern gravel/touring bikes re-use that late 70's geo & clearance
