Dura Ace 7400 8-speed

DA only works with DA afaik as the pull ratio is 1.9.

Well they look like these which are 7400:

Wasn't it possible to bodge pull ratios by attaching the cable on the wrong side of the clamp or something?

If you run a 8 speed XT M739 you could effectiely use the Sora 3000 STI 9 speed as they still use the same pull ratio according to the webz.

But what you said about them being 7400 is correct and then the at back the XT is the M739.
