  • There is. Having never played for my new club I've been promoted to the 2nd XV for an away game.

  • Oh nice one. Except for 6 games a year for the county charity invitational team I hung up my boots 5 years or so ago (I'm nearing 40). Best of luck tomorrow for the game (and are initiations still a thing? - if so that too) where do you play?

  • Initiations had better not be a thing I'm in enough trouble for playing rugby before I go out for my anniversary dinner! I'm nearing 4o also so only play very socially, I play anywhere from 1 to 8 which makes me very popular at most clubs.

  • Oh brilliant. I played with a fella who planned his family camping holiday around an away match in Somerset (snuck off with his kit - obviously he got busted) and also had 6 of the team book a table in the same restaurant he was having his anniversary dinner which was after a game too. Sounds great; you'll be in the ones before you know it, almost certainly for the long away trip in the 3 weekends that spread over Xmas and new year. Best of luck, for the match, the initiation and the dinner - apparently the more I try and pretend I'm not pissed, even with my Brian Sewellesque 'I'm not pissed voice', the more pissed I actually am!

  • Bloody kids, I played my last game at 50.

  • Feel this thread needs a ‘has this been regrouted?’ intervention.

    Also: Tiles schmiles. Pebbledash it.

  • yet*

    fuuuck.

  • Pffft. This guy puts you to shame.

  • Awesome guy! Mind you, you trundling forwards generally survive longer in the game than us out in the girls.

  • Big respect - I absolutely worship you and your I'll who keep playing regular proper rugby week in week out for their local clubs. Our club had a prop who played 1000 senior games for the club - insane

  • Insane, basic requirement for a prop!

  • Yes, read about him before. Plays in/around same area my brother played for Herts/Middlesex. He plays for a team who play at a modest level and I was surprised when he once told me ) within the last 5 years) the weekends opposition had a back rower who had 3 caps for Ireland. "Bloody hell said I, good luck, playing a Level 8, what's his name?" "You wouldn't know him" said he "He won them in The early 80s"

  • For just a moment, I'd forgotten about tile troubles :-(

  • Christ, I was playing then! In a reasonable team but at a modest level personally... I once tried out for Blackheath, that taught me my level in no uncertain terms. I retired 8 years ago, but would still turn out (and be shite) for a charity game if anyone was stupid enough to ask.

  • You're too modest. You should try and find a local club with a vets set-up.

  • I looked at my local team, the 10 repeatedly delivers a perfect hospital ball and there is no half-time defibrillator.

  • You could buy any lightish frames that suit your fancy that have an OSB and get one of those eccentric OSB kits

  • Are there some iPhone charging cables that actually last?
Last I bought was some rather pricey "unbreakcable" one but while it's thicker it just tears just the same where the plug meets the cable, exposing the wires, as the material is just too soft / shit.

  • There are also the Zoulou frames on CNC bike https://www.cnc-bike.de/index.php?cPath=21_73

  • @SuperSalad I use Anker cables which seem pretty bulletproof, even the Pixel 3 likes them..... I guess you are going to tell me its Anker braided cables you have

  • Anker

#tester_approved in USB-C style, holding up well to at least 10 plug/unplug cycles every day as my in-van charging connection.
I can't speak to the quality of their iPhone version because I wouldn't touch one of those with a ten foot pole 🙂

  • You say modafinil as if it's relatively easy to get hold of. I am curious about this stuff but can't work out how to get access. Care to divulge?

  • can't work out how to get access

Read up on the NICE/MHRA usage guidelines so that you know which fake answers to give to the online consultation at any of the online pharmacies.

  • Cheapest place (inc p&p) to buy 2 m6x19mm narrow head bolts for a hollowtech-II LH crank? Or answer on whether a 'standard' m6x20 will work, internet seems conflicted on this.
