Third vote for Rome. Shame they don’t play at Stadio Flaminio any more. That was ace, even if some of it was made out of scaffolding. Olympic stadium is a way out (it snowed a few years back and they cancelled all transport, which was fun!). But it’s still Rome.
Murrayfield is nicely situated in the centre of town too. And Edinburgh is a nice place to visit.
Or left-field suggestion - a big Top14 game in southern France (when all the stars are back from RWC)? Toulon is very close to some very nice bits of the south coast (likewise Montpellier). Could get over to St Tropez and Cannes, if you’re willing to travel around a bit?
My Dad and brother went to tiblisi for the Scotland warm up match, they flew out and back with the team. Both highly rated the trip and especially tiblisi.
Didn’t get to watch rugby there, but v highly rate Tbilisi. Lovely city, loads to see/do, great food, beer, wine. Looked like there was plenty of nightlife which I didn’t sample.
Tbilisi for that Georgian scrum... ;)
