Yes, read about him before. Plays in/around same area my brother played for Herts/Middlesex. He plays for a team who play at a modest level and I was surprised when he once told me ) within the last 5 years) the weekends opposition had a back rower who had 3 caps for Ireland. "Bloody hell said I, good luck, playing a Level 8, what's his name?" "You wouldn't know him" said he "He won them in The early 80s"

Christ, I was playing then! In a reasonable team but at a modest level personally... I once tried out for Blackheath, that taught me my level in no uncertain terms. I retired 8 years ago, but would still turn out (and be shite) for a charity game if anyone was stupid enough to ask.
